MiCCAS.net - Future Plans

Mar 3rd 2008

Alright, well you’re probably either wondering why not much is happening on MiCCAS.net or you’ve just forgotten about it! Either way, I’m not surprised. But, I wanted to make a quick post to explain what’s going on.

Basically, when I released version 2 (the current version) of the website, I focused a lot on design then rushed the rest, and put it up as it was. Unfortunately, it wasn’t too good when I found new things I wanted to add. I had to chop bits and pieces out of what I had already to get it going.

So, I come to today with a really slow … bad website! Be honest.. come on, it’s.. well, not as good as it could be. So, I have devised a plan to slowly redevelop the site and relaunch it to something more full scale. Thanks to the support of Servers Australia, we’re on a brand spanking new server which means that once the new site is launched you should be breezing the site in seconds even on dialup… ok, well maybe not but you get what I mean.

I’m trying not to let out any clues just yet, but I have some prizes to give away including PayPal credit!! Keep an eye out on the blog :)

MiCCAS.net Launches New Site - MSNVirusRemoval.com

Jan 24th 2008

Anyone who has used Windows Live Messenger (formally known as msn messenger), has heard about the viruses that continue to spread like wildfire throughout your contacts, displaying messages such as “Is this you?” claims, or “Wow this chick is hot” claims.

Up until this day I have not seen any software to remove such viruses, however upon receiving a link directly from the author of msnvirusremover.tk, I have worked with Andrew, the software developer, to launch a new website co-branded by MiCCAS.net

So, if you have a MSN virus, check out www.MSNVirusRemoval.com (MSN Virus Removal) and let us know how you go!

New way to subscribe to MiCCAS.net’s Official Blog

Sep 12th 2007

officialnews Well, so far we’ve completely redesigned the blog, and more and more news articles are being posted. We’re still on the way of development but we’re getting there. Today, I’d like to announce a new feature on the MiCCAS.net Blog.

On the right hand side of the blog site, you’ll now see a new section called “SUBSCRIBE”. This will be where we will be adding future methods of subscribing to the blog.

For the moment however, we have the option of receiving updates to the MiCCAS.net Official Blog via Windows Live Messenger. Every time we release a new blog, you’ll receive a nice window message like you would when a contact is to sign in.

To subscribe using this method, click the image on the right hand side that looks like the following and follow the instructions (you will be redirected to the Microsoft website - no contact details are ever given to us).

subscribe

We plan to release more methods to subscribe including RSS and Email. Stay tuned!

Blog Redesigned

Sep 8th 2007

wt46e2a26ab1d2f-thumb_large After the launch of MiCCAS.net Version 2, we completely forgot about the blog - sporting a very different skin than the MiCCAS.net website itself. So, we decided to put our foot down and completely intergrate it with the MiCCAS.net website.

Now, you’ll notice the theme of the site has changed. We’ve taken the design we used on the MiCCAS.net website and formed it into a wordpress theme. We removed the menu bar, and placed the sidebar on the right hand side.

After hours of hard work, it’s done. Of course, I’m sure there’ll be a few bugs but the point of this post is to thank a good friend of mine who has been helping me out hugely with the whole MiCCAS.networks project. EmZeD, thank you from the bottom of my heart! I wouldn’t have had the site looking as good without you!

You’ll be able to see some of EmZeD’s projects very soon, as he’ll be developing them in the coming weeks! Until then, you’ll be able to see him lurking around on the forums or posting on the blog!
