Coupons - Don’t we just love them!

Dec 12th 2007

Yes, it’s that time of the year again. In just a couple weeks, we’ll all be rushing to bed to wait till the man in the red suit jumps down our chimney (or walks through the door with magic dust) comes, and to find presents in the morning.

Of course, for those who purchase gifts for others, such as friends and family, you’ll soon realise that bank will get lighter - much lighter. So, a suggestion before you go shopping is to checkout sites such as EdealFinder.com (Overstock coupon) which allows you to search and download coupons that can be used on products you purchase in-store or online. That way, you can save more money on the items you’d otherwise pay full price for.

So for instance, before you purchase a Dell PC, you can checkout the Dell Coupon page or before you purchase a HallMark card, you could checkout the HallMark Coupon Page! Check out the site and let me know what you think!

Electronics and Computer recycling

Nov 13th 2007

images When you turn on your TV, you’ll usually see advertisements telling you to cut down on electronic usage to save the earth. However, there is another important factor in saving the earth, however it isn’t advertised much on TV - computer and electronic recycling.

Consider this, every day new technology comes afloat - those new superfast CPU processors or that brand new Blu-Ray burners. And, you throw out the old junk such as that slow computer or that old VCR. Where does it end up? In the tip.

Most people sort out their recyclables such as bottles, cans or paper into a designated bin so that it may be reused, and not just thrown in the tip. However, people don’t seem to realise that this sort of system is also available for computers and electronics. Services such as Creative Recycling offer Electronic Recycling and Computer Recycling through the US and their applicable partners.

So, if you’re considering purchasing or have already purchased an upgraded computer, make sure you recycle your old computer by giving it to someone who will use it or give it to a service such as Creative Recycling.

mobbrow The technology has been around for Mobile Internet since wireless routers were created, however is it really ready to take off?

According to Read/WriteWeb, “[In the US] there are 237 million wireless subscribers, but only 32 million accessed the Internet in September”. This shows that the mobile web revolution is still to be pronounced as a popular technology. PayPerPost.com - Blog for cash!

Oct 31st 2007

When you create a blog, the first consideration many make in regards to making money is usually through the form of advertising. You know the drill, you go to a blog and on the side you’ll see some text ads. They can be interesting, but when you really think about it, who clicks them? The answer.. not many!

Throughout my travels on the internet I came across a website called payperpost which allows you to earn money on your blog by doing what you’re doing already - blogging. With one blog post ranging from $5 onwards, you could be earning a lot more in money than you would with google ads or yahoo ads. The money is paid through PayPal, so you will need to make sure you have an account!

The only downside I have had whilst using this service so far is the time it took to have my blog actually approved. According to their staff, they had an increase of signups which delayed my blog from being approved. However, with staff responding to my questions within 24 hours, I’m not upset about the wait it took for my blog to be approved.

So, I’m going to trial the PayPerPost system on this blog, and hopefully you will be able to see some new products that you haven’t seen before! And, I’ll be able to review it. However, there is one question I know a lot of you will be asking. Does that mean I will be sneaking in reviews to earn money? The answer, no. The great thing about PayPerPost, is that it allows you to be honest to your visitors - in fact, it encourages it. On the right hand side of this site, you’ll see a Disclosure area. Have a read of that, and you’ll understand this blog has been and will always be an honest source of information.
