The impossible at last - Mac Leopard on your Windows PC!

Oct 31st 2007

ref_leopard_box So, the world was surprised when Mac released a product which allowed you to run Microsoft Windows on their Mac platform. However, it’s now possible to run Mac on a Windows PC!

According to the DailyApps.net website, a day after Leopard was released it has been possible to install Mac on a Windows machine. “its been only a day since the Mac OSX Leopard was released officially by Apple and the hackers have managed to create a patched DVD that everyone like you and me can use to install Leopard on PC’s without having to buy a Mac.”

The post includes step by step instructions which include burning a patched iso image to a DVD, using a usb drive for the patch then installing Mac. The problem however is that this hack will only work on Intel PCs with at least SSE (which means us AMD fans can’t run it just yet - not surprising).

I’d love to hear what you guys think of this new patch, and bear in mind that it’s still experimental and as such you could damage your PC (whilst I highly doubt it). For more information visit http://dailyapps.net/2007/10/hack-attack-install-leopard-on-your-pc-in-3-easy-steps/
