iPhone update hacked before release

Nov 12th 2007

840637_63093543 After the first iPhone update was released, people were worried it was not possible to be hacked again, until it was done a short while after. However, this time round they’ve hacked the updated before it was released to the public.

The update, which fixes the hole used to unlock the phone with the first update, has already been hacked according to the Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW). “They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And here is the first picture from a jailbroken 1.1.2 iPod touch, courtesy of hacker planetbeing”.

Take a look at the TUAW website to see the photograph of the new hacked update.
